Ellery v Sunsail (Australia) Pty Ltd [2014] QDC 285 – Failure to alter boating vessel for commercial use

Ms Ellery was holidaying in the Whitsunday Islands when her daughter, Christine, arranged for a one day cruise around Hamilton Island on one of Sunsail’s catamarans. Johnson & Anor v Hancock [2014] QCA 130 – Property owner’s duty to warn people of hazards

Mr Hancock fell into the drainage pipe whilst undertaking gardening work at an Indooroopilly property on 7 October 2009.
